Originally from Pasadena, Mr. Steidl holds degrees in Architecture and Business from the University of Southern California. At USC, Tom was a Gezundheit Fellow and Renaissance Scholar, an honor awarded to students pursuing two distinct academic disciplines that are in widely separate fields.
Starting in October, 2009, Tom is on leave for a year-long sabbatical to work with Habitat for Humanity in Fiji. Tom had been splitting his time between David Gray Architects, and its sister company, the Flatiron Development Group, LLC.
In 2003, he was named one of Downtown Los Angeles' top "Movers & Shakers Under 35" for his work master planning a new football stadium, entertainment complex, and housing development in hopes of luring a professional football team back to LA.
