Scott grew up in Walla Walla, WA before moving to Los Angeles to attend University of Southern California. He graduated with Bachelor of Architecture in 2007 before starting to work at David Gray Architects shortly after.
Scott has completed internships with firms in Pasadena and Seattle, working on projects including single-family homes, mixed-use projects, and a medical clinic in Washington. This interest in a vast scope of projects was a major interest when joining David Gray Architects.
Scott was first introduced to David and his work when David lectured in a development class at USC. The dynamic of being involved with every aspect of the development and design process is very fascinating to Scott. This involvement can lead to a much better building with a more cohesive concept, design, and marketing scheme.
Scott enjoys the outdoors; including hiking, wakeboarding, and camping. His most enjoyable time is spent backcountry and Heli-skiing throughout the US and Canada.
